Yawn, the lab is quiet, too quiet. I'm bored out of my mind. Currently, I am the only person here. I guess everyone went home. I wish I could be home too. Of course, I can't complain because I get paid to sit here and do nothing. Around 4:30 was the highlight of my shift, "The 11 X 17 Mystery". For about 15 minutes I got to ponder why the heck printer one stopped printing 11 X 17 pages. Wow, you can hear the excitement in my voice. (I'm being sarcastic - can you tell?) Blah, blah, blah, merf, blah. Seven minutes and I'm free to leave :-) Yipee! It funny how (by the end of my shift) I feel like the computers are sucking the life from me. Their high pitch hummm.... piercing my brain. Okay, maybe not that bad, but enough to annoy me.
Well, I'm going to log off now. Soon I will be home :-)

Yawn! When will this cold go away? I feel like I've had it forever. I would't mind so much if I could get a decent nights sleep. I find myself waking up at least three or four times a night and when morning comes around I feel like a ghost. Bleh! I wish I could sleep :-(

Ahhh... here I am at the Brainerd Lab. It's quiet, calm and the students actually know how to use the computers :-) It's been a while since I last wrote in this 'handy dandily do' journal, but I have two good excuses why I haven't - vacation & the limited use of a modem (which so happen to be connected to my dad's very sloooowwww Macintosh) instead of an ethernet connection. Over break I did a few major things: I sang in my sister's wedding, got all four wisdom teeth pulled out, and enjoyed some quality time with Mike (my kickass boyfriend). I think my vacation went pretty well :-)
Currently, I am taking 18 credits and have three jobs. Life couldn't be better.

Yes, I am now officially stuffed with turkey and cranberry sauce :-) Thanksgiving went very well. I got to meet my exceedly cute baby brother for the first time. Yes, that's right - my "baby" brother. We may be 21 years apart, but he still is my brother after all. It amazes me how much family I have. I wish I could visit them all, but being that there is only one of me that is not possible. When the holidays come around I am torn between which part of my family I should visit. I wish I didn't have to worry about such things. I wish I could just go home, one home.

Boy, do I feel like a goober. Yesterday, when I went to see my teacher, I went to the wrong room. Usually I enter Deady Hall from the side closest to the UO Bookstore, but for some reason I decided to enter from the other side. This disoriented me a bit, but I (having no clue) continued on the path I was use to following. Add a large helping of stress and vola! You have a very frustrated, very confused Dynée. And so, to conclude today's rambling, I must admit to my human folly.
