911 compensation
To whom it may concern:
As a gay man who has been in a 24 year committed relationship I was
appalled to learn that there will NOT be compensation paid to the surviving
partners of 911 victims.
How can it be that gay men died and were called heroes (
and ) yet their surviving partners will not be compensated
the same as heterosexual parnters/wifes/husbands.
I would hope that the tragedy of September 11 would unite us a country
and not cause more separation.
Surely this matter needs to be rethought!
