Like so many of my friends, I am outraged at the discrimination against gay
and lesbian
partners of some of the heroes of September 11. I thought we were way beyond
this!! Some of these couples may have had children in common they were
raising together. To turn the aid of families who have lost a major
bread-winner into a political statement against gays and lesbians is
offensive in the extreme.
Please rethink this discriminatory bill.
