[demo] I think that we should bomb Iraq. Sadaam Hussien is a facist dictator and he should not be in power. We should have finished him and the job 10 years ago. It is our American duty to relieve the Iraqi nation of a pig like Sadaam Hussien. A friendly government in Iraq is cruical to American intrests. Bush was right to include Iraq in the 'axis of evil'. What's up with this country anyway?

[demo] I respect your views but I don't think a whole country should be bombed for the mistakes and oppressions of one person. If we bombed every country with a leader we did not agree with, I don't think even our own country would exist.

[demo] First of all I want to thank rht for posting such an interesting comment on such an important topic. Before getting into what I believe, I must add that a little controversy doesn't hurt here and there. Sooooo, six months has passed. It started by America getting attacked. That was the evil beginning. There was an "evildoer" behind it all. He was a dark man. A man that knew nothing good. He was so dark that he even helped the CIA once (wait a minute was that part of the script?) Then came a good guy named the warrior. He was deliberate in thought and action. He knew what he wanted: justice! He said that we need operations that would "endure" freedom and "promote" democracy. In order to do that he attacked mud huts with million dollar cruise missiles. The conclusion : good guy makes less pronunciation mistakes, new words such as "smoking-out" and "axis of evil" have entered American foreign policy, and, oh yes, the "evildoer" is still pretty much free. OK, OK, I know, that was not the plan. Hey it aynt hollywood now. So what to do next? For some that is simple: wear the cloak of freedom and justice and go get all the evil ones down on their knees. Then we will make sure that all countries have a democratic regime. Then we will learn how to chew pretzels. One of those evil ones is a person named Saddam Hussein. Now that is a tough one, even for the current administration. Now in order to "smite" this unholy element off the surface of the earth, the good gut needs help. It isn't ten years ago when neighbors gave money and land, its way different now. In order to attack Iraq, good guy needs International support and backing. Too bad for that. Another problem: lets say they do get this Saddam Hussein guy off the throne, what then? OH OH running out of space. But think about it, and don't forget you cant give the spotlight to Saddam while the main "evildoer" is still not caught.

[demo] I disagree whole heartedly on bombing/punishing Iraq for something one person has done. If you would handle all situations with that type of manner then there wouldn't be much of a world left. I mean, in every country or place there is someone who isn't exactly the way we want them to be and doesn't "act" the way we think they should does that mean then that we are allowed to go and kill them just because we don't like them? And like I said, if you were to do that then there wouldn't be a world left for us to live in because we'd all be dead.

[demo] I personally do not think we should bomb civillians because that is exactlly what bombing Iraq is.
