Where were you on the morning of 9/11?
I had come to school like any other day, and went to Math Team, and then up to Drafting on the 10th floor. At about 8:45, we heard a really loud bang, and thought it was something from the contruction going on close to my school building. Then one of the kid's in my class started screaming: "The WTC is on fire, they bombed it again!!!" We all rushed to the windows and started watching as flames and extremely black smoke rushed through all 4 sides of the building. Then Mr. Titel, our principal, came on the speakers and reported that a plane had hit one of the towers of the WTC. The way he put it, it sounded like it was a little plane, like a Sensa (excuse my spelling). So we were a little relieved. But then when the bell rang and we had to go to the next period, none of us moved. We just kept staring at the Towers from the 10th floor. Then we saw the second plane slowly come towards the the second towers and hit. Then we knew, that this was not an accident. The horrible fact is, we saw people jump down the building trying to get away from the flames. At first we thought they were just objects, but then as we took a closer look, we saw that they were people, jumping for their lives, using curtains to try to survive.Since we have TVs in every classroom, we turned them on and started watching news channels. We saw that both Towers had been hit, and that the Pentagon, in DC, in the meanwhile had also been hit. We were all in shock, not a single person said a word. By then, the FBI was in the building and were forcing us to evacuate the higher floors. So we were forced to go down to the 3rd floor. As we continued watching TV, we heard another 3rd loud bang, and the lights and all communication of any kind went out. As we looked down Chambers Street and across the Baseball field we were not able to see anything at all, nothing because of all the dust. Then the FBI evacuated the bulding and told us to start walking uptown till Canal Street. By the time we got there, the Stuyvesant building was already covered with dust and not visible any more. I have to say, there was no organization at all. Once we reached Canal, we just broke up and went our seperate ways. I teamed up with a few of my friends who also lived in Queens and started walking towards the subways. We found out that no subways were running, and we just started walking. People who owned stores were so kind to grant us some food, since we had no chance to have lunch at school. In the Cafe, we watched CNN and local news channels and found out that the only way of transpotation to Queens was the 59th Street Queensboro Bridge. So we started walking. We had an extremely long walk that day, and once we got to the bridge, we were all walking in the sreets. When we were on Park, we just saw Black Smoke from downtown. We walked over the bridge and got on the 7 Train, which goes across Queens. I got to my parents working place, and once I got there, my mom just hugged me and started crying. She wouldn't let go of me till we got home. That was my horryifying day on 9/11.

Wow, that's a crazy and terrifying story there SSJ4Goku45063. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
My day on 9/11 waz much simpler. I waz chillin' at work, reading up on the local news online. Then all of the sudden pages started loading up slowly and I couldn't access any news sources. I asked around at work and everybody waz having the same problem. After awhile my roomie got online from home and told me something terrifying and unbelievable waz happening. He couldn't give details because he waz so shaken up, so I took a break and came home.
When I walked in the door I looked at the TV and just about collapsed. I couldn't believe what I waz seeing. On the way back to work I grabbed a radio and listened to it all day. I had to break the news to all of my co-workers and some of them had to go on break to throw up.
Like I said, my day waz much milder, but I grieved with the rest of the nation.
