How do you think the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center will affect the next Generation? Will it?

So far I haven't seen any permanent change in our generation. Or even temporary change. The baby boomers were a lot more shrill in their declarations that they were "changed". I actually can't think of a single kid I know who's changed his or her political affiliations (or convictions) because of the event. We seemed to be even less affected than older generations (OK, maybe that "even" doesn't belong in that sentence).
9/11 didn't really strike a chord with a central concern of our generation. I mean, it brought about a declaration of war and a lot of flag-waving. What's that going to do to galvanize some central cause of ours? Even the 2000 debacle in Florida didn't change the course of our generation. The big new items of the last few years haven't provided anything for us all to rally around. Our generation doesn't HAVE a defining moment.
