Well, I'm a 17 year old girl who lives with my mom and grandpa in Michigan. I'm currently homeschooling, doing both partial 10th and all 11th grade work tryin to finish up in order to join my boyfriend in Indiana at college. I did not personally know anyone who died or was injured on 9-11-2001 but my aunt, uncle, and 3 cousins were in Washing not even a mile from the Pentagon in a church attending a funeral. 9-11-2001 is something I will remember forever, I will remember where I was and what I was doing at the moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center. It is something that will stick out in my mind forever, something I will tell my kids about when I have kids and they learn about it in school.

I am 17 years old, I've lived in Chattanooga since 1990. Not necessarily a patriotic person but also not anarchist..third year in ROTC at my very sports oriented high school *GAG* and loving every minute of it...except for the uniforms and marching and dealing with the insubordination of the freshmen. :)

Hi my name is Josh, some of my hobbies include Soccer, student government, acting, reading, and listening to music. My favorite shows are Boston Public, The West Wing, Malcolm in the Middle, and My Wife and Kids. I'm a pretty much laid back person who likes to get involved with issues affecting youth my age. I one who always speaks out when something is wrong and it needs to be fixed. Currently I'm starting my own Events planning business. 10 years from now I hope to have graduated from college with a Masters in Political Science and minor in Marketing. I'm also planning to run for President of the U.S. in 2028. I'm pro-choice, which means I believe a woman should have the right to choose is she wants an abortion, but I don't agree with abortion. I'm for the War on Terrorism, but I think we need to have open dialog with countries we suspect are terrorist nations before we start bombing everything. I also believe that Education and our healthcare system both need reform and some sort of structure, because 10 years from now, both will be in some major trouble if we don't fix them now. My role model has to be Secretary of State COlin Powell, because he is such a great man with his leadership abilities and knowledge of how to deal with increasingly difficult problems facing America and I salute him for that. I am excited to be able to have open dialog with other youth, to see how they feel on issues that I share the same interest. I can't wait to begin.

HIi! My name is Aisha and I am currently in the 11th grade. I'm into performing arts (drama and dance, specifically). I love to act and dance and spend time with friends. I moved to Georgia a couple of years ago, but prior to that I lived in Washington State. I've been around people from various backgrounds and cultures my entire life. As a result, I welcome other cultures and lifestyles with open arms.
