Hello everyone. I made this because we haven't introduced ourselves yet and the "mailing people" said we should.
My name is Rae, and I am a 15-year old Christian. I sing, act, read, and am a member of the USA Diving Team. I am a straight A student and a sophmore in high school. I am very sociable and I love people, but I will go against the crowd if they do something I don't believe in. I don't like to argue but I will stick up for myself. I do love discussions and debates though, so feel free to talk about things with me!
I am not sure what else to put here so..... what about you guys?
Rae
P.S. I think this is very cool idea to whomever started this E.A. thing, and I am very pleased to be posting here.

Hi folks.
Sorry I'm so late in responding. I see you've already got a ton of great discussions up! Sorry to miss out on the action. My name is May; I'm 14 and one of those weirdos who's confused and wants to be a political activist etc. I'm insanely angry at Bush, the Bush administration, etc -- and finding it very difficult to keep to my pacifist ways (in terms of venting).
OKay dokey. Well if some have you have already read, i am very angrey at a lot of thigns. I think that it is just during our time the world is crumbling in our faces and I get very angrey quickley . I wish that there would be a great force to help the world. I really believe God is trying to sen dus a message that we need to get our acts together. Um........... I really enjoy reading, swimming, going to the gym, watching television, and shopping. I really have need in life to help those in need. Especially people in Africa. I really want to be a news anchor and create charities to help people. I currrently reside in Maryland, and I am 14.

Sawadee kha. My name is Kalidah. I'm 14, completely pissed at the Bush administration (and Clinton too for that matter), and I don't support the "war on terrorism". I'm very spiritual, and a devout Muslim, but I'm not a bigot. I think there are many ways to find God/Allah. I'm long-winded, passionate, intense and have a talent for stirring rebellion among those who agree with me, and offending those who don't. It's pretty hard to hurt my feelings as long as you don't categorize me, and don't dehumanize human beings. On April 20th I'm going to lobby for peace in Washington. I speak lots of languages, love to travel, and am going to join the Peace Corps as soon as I finish college. I am willing to help people at any cost to myself.

Hello.I'm Shannon, just like the username-bit says. I live in-well,near-Houston,Texas. I'm not religious or spiritual at all. I don't get insulted easily, and I hate introductions, but feel like I should do this since I got an e-mail about the lack of introductions.

When and how are you going to lobby for peace? I have been thinking in depth about starting a campaign for peace and against the Bush administration's infringements on our personal freedoms. I explained this to several people, and got negative feedback that depressed these feelings. I would love to help join the cause. (this is in response mainly to Kalidah's intro.)
Plus I am interested to find another person without religion, Shannon. For a while I thought I was alone :)

Earache-- It's really too bad how turned-off most Americans are on the idea of peace, and I hope pacifists won't be suppressed-- let's get out there and make it happen. Later this month I'm flying down to DC to talk to senators and carry signs around, things like that. If you or anyone want more info on the organized peace march, write to satyapeace@yahoo.com. They can give you more details than I can. This is a great opportunity to make our voices heard.
Kalidah like how exactly ( I am not trying to be rude or antyhign ) are you goign to get peace by carrying signs . I think that getting peace will have to be a group effort. But I admire your work on trying to accomplish peace.

That is the main problem with these things. I want so much to join peace marches, but Bush and those legislators don't really care if someone goes and lobbies. The marches, however, are great in that they provide spirit and wake everyone up. There are more reasons, but I don't feel like listing them. We need supplicants to the marches, things that actually go into legislature and scare the officials up officially. One of the reasons great movements in the past worked is that they had not only movements of the general people, but movements officially in the legislature and government.
