Happy New Year. I've been dealing with a flu relapse these past couple of days so I stayed in for the night. Still coughing away as I type this. Mirei spent New Years in Hollywood and before she left, she turned off the webcam. I apologize to all of you who prefer the dark, empty living room over a blue screen. Not sure how I'm getting back but it sounds like I'm riding down tomorrow or Wednesday. Then it's back to the mad rush to pay bills, find a roommate, buy school books, and restart this funky website. Gotta get some laundry done.

What's up! It's me again, here to bless the web with nothing important. First off, I also saw "Cast Away"...damn that movie sucked! Well actually in the begining I liked it, then it just dragged on. Plus most of the movie is spent in ambient noise. However, my friends and I, after watching the film sat and discussed what we would all do if trapped in a similar situation. So for a movie we did not like, we spent hella time talking about it. I still really want to see "Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", the film looks hella dope, so see it once it comes to your town, cause right now it is only on limited release.
Second, my vacation has been filled with watching DVD's and movies...so I caught up on some much needed film viewing by watching "The Hurricane", "Three Kings", "Virgin Suicides", and the crazy ass "Acid House" by the author of "Trainspotting" Irvine Welch.
