Wow, Blogger is still chugging along. I finally went shopping for Chinese snacks. I have this thing for Asian exoticism when it comes to food. I'm tired of the dorritos and Sobe and Parmesan Chicken. Gimme dried squid, tofu jerky, hi-chews, and green tea ice cream. Mmmmm. Got Jason to take me shopping for some of that stuff, but he kept complaining about the smell at the supermarket. In which case I decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea to toss the durian (fruit that smells like gasoline) ice cream into the cart. Will someone hire me? Through a temp agency, I got an interview for a data entry job that requires knowledge of the Quickbook program. I hope they overlook my lack of Quickbook experience. Whatever. I actually don't care what kind of job it is as long as I get money to pay off my ugly debts, but I'm nevertheless trying to focus on secretarying or receptionistizing at some newspaper or publishing company. Or get a cashiers job at some bookstore. I passed my "rules of the road" written test this past monday, with two mistakes. I was so nervous when the lady checked my answers. I really wanted a perfect score, but I can't complain. Now, it's time to actually learn to drive. The only experience I've had with driving so far has been backing out of a parking spot and holding the steering wheel while the driver ate a hamburger. I'm most likely going to learn stick shift, because that's what my mom's Corrolla has. I asked my mom to explain in detail the difference between automatic and stick, and from her description it seems as if stick is the easiest way for me to kill people while driving. It's got all these complicated little procedures that bubble headed me will probably blow a circuit trying to figure it all out, while at the same time clumsily subtracting a few lives. Speaking of clumsy, I've been hitting Jason in the face a lot, lately. And I didn't tell him, but I almost knocked over a few of his art projects while walking by them. But I blame that on the set up of his room, which makes it seem as if a table edge or printer tray is always jutting out at me everywhere I walk.
