4:19 PM  heya. so i actually really have nothing to say today, except that my neighbor just rode past my window on a lawnmower. i need to clean my room, and i want to order some cheap eyeliner from delia's but apparently they're "out of stock" of my favorite color.

i have this obsession with red. i think i might have been a bull in a past life or something.

10.11.2000

11:05 PM  ahhh!! boy, am i getting lazy. it's been so long that i've even updated my webpage (not to mention this blogger) that i'm forgetting html. that's sad, no? i'm typing in red to celebrate the fact that i'm updating at least part of my webpage, the first part in like, a month. hmm so webpages webpages....tyler's web page is pretty cool. he's dating my albondiga. which reminds me. i think i might go to spain this summer. woo hoo, that would so totally rock my world. and what else what else? i'm beginning to think nobody really cares, but hey...it's all therapeutic to me.
other news: i have been consuming copious (haha, there's a mr. richardson moment) amounts of cherry coke. i don't know if that's good, 'especially because that stuff has calories...and too many calories...well, you know. looking down at my last blogged thing, i still haven't heard about the green ketchup, but my friend mona tells me that she heard about it too, and she's in germany. so i'm thinking--heinz...germany...yeah, so mona probably knows what she's talking about.
tomorrow is beatnik/children's poetry day in english. i'm so pumped! i love dressing up like a little kid. our teacher's really cool about the whole creative side of the english language...especially when the critical, flowery literature side gets...well, boring.
well, i know i've already strayed from the whole "just blog it" idea (nike moment there--i'm taking moments everywhere i can!) so, you know, like george w bush said in the debates tonight, "what the heck"...even though i don't particularly like him. well, i don't know. i'm sure he's a very nice man or something and if i met him on the street i wouldn't hate him...but i wouldn't want him to lead me because well...no. just...no. i'll leave it at that. politics kind of suck, but even though i hate it, i still have to participate because otherwise i don't get whining privileges. ohhh yeah. way to ramble, self.
i'm talking to myself now. kinda like how sarah talks to her car...or used to talk to her car. sarah's my hero. she might go to spain, too.
okay, whoa. this is getting to be quite lengthy. i think i should probably end it here, because...whatever. just because i feel like it. so there.

12:33 AM  hey well look. it's been, like, almost a month, and i have had no links up. hmm, i heard that heinz is coming out with green ketchup. that makes me a little sad. i like red. and i like ketchup. i don't want mutant ketchup. silly ketchupmakers. it's going to be like crystal clear pepsi. they change the color, and suddenly nobody buys the product anymore. to be trite, "coincidence? i think not!"

6.23.2000

1:32 AM  i'm not feeling too well today. i managed to find something somewhat interesting, though. i also found out that envy.nu is one of those free server things. that's exciting.

6.21.2000

1:05 AM  neat. i found a cool ezine/webzine, whatever it is.
but this go sailor site and the go sailor cd thing on the web made me the most content, even though i have the cd already :).

6.20.2000

10:15 PM  for a good time, call miss lindsay... :p

6.8.2000

1:54 AM  well, today i've looked through some more mcpages and i've now designed an award for those boring and repetitious sites with no content. you can see the award graphic i made here. heh. i feel kinda mean, but it's so satisfying...

6.7.2000

1:20 AM  i'm beginning a pattern of getting online and staying online really late. it's like 1 am now, but who knows how long i'll be on this thing?
so hmm. today i went to this restaurant by my house and they have a jukebox and life is good. linz and i are going to go back very often.
i am having troubles with virtue.nu so that means i can't update for a really long time, which upsets me, 'cause i was ready to publish my links page as well as my "pages that suck" page. that sounds really mean, but when you've got people like this posting their elaborate sob stories and soap opera dramas, and especially with egregious spelling and grammar errors, something's got to give. perhaps it's mean to make fun of people expressing their thoughts, but if they're going to show it to people, it might as well be somewhat intelligible; then again, i guess i can't really say anything, 'cause i've got this habit of rambling off into nowhere...and the cliches!! oh man, those cliches. i can't get enough of those cliches. gosh, this is getting out of hand, you know, all this cliche business. so let me change the subject.

i haven't eaten dinner yet and it's 1:30 am.

6.6.2000

3:23 AM  it's about 2 am, and i'm downloading netscape for the 5th time. *sigh*. it's almost 2:45 am now. i am having trouble with the virtue.nu server, and i'm getting sad. plus, nobody is online to talk to me. i had a fun day, though. i need to figure out what i want to do with my summer. i want to buy a softies cd.
people are watching some indian (like eastern indian, not american indian/native american) black-and-white movie. it's quite interesting, especially since i don't know what anyone is saying. i don't think anyone else knows, either. weird. today, i also learned what the word "precocious" means:

pre*co*cious (adjective)

First appeared 1650

1 : exceptionally early in development or occurrence

2 : exhibiting mature qualities at an unusually early age

there we go.
so, let's see. what else, what else? oh, i'm beginning to agree with sarah that it gets annoying when people type or write "love ya" instead of "i love you". the former is so like not even a phrase of endearment really, 'cause it loses all its meaning when the last word is amputated, making it sound incredibly impersonal. okay, yeah, enough of that. i don't even know why i'm writing that. i'm beginning to think that perhaps my site reveals too much information about me...maybe that's a bit paranoid-sounding, but i don't know if most of you really care to read lots of junk abt my friends, my crappy electromagnetic poetry, and well...me.

i feel like i'm beginning to ramble. must...stay...on...topic.
the best way to stay on topic is to create a new one.
let's see. so i'll talk about my 'ambitions' (that was so cheesy, it didn't even deserve quotation marks--just apostrophes). when i grow up, i want to get a few phds. that would be so cool. i'd be dr dr dr whatever, perhaps dr^3...well, that's if i get 3 phds. i wonder how long i'd have to be in school to do that. i should probably move on to my 'dream career' (same apostrophe-quote scenario), since i don't want to be 60 years old and just then starting to work at what i like...

isn't it funny how i criticize this page for being too autobiographical, and then go right ahead adding autobiographical information to it?

...it's 3 am. netscape has finished downloading; it ended 5 minutes ago. i'm a little tired, and a little bored. nobody is online this late! and to think, i was so happy that i didn't have to work tomorrow so i could go online all night.
geez, internet killed the telephone star. other current favorites: this arizona somethingorother iced tea, all my cute little inside jokes with linz and josh. things i don't like? typing slow not to bother anyone with clicky noise. i'm going to bed. this is pointless. heh. i would talk abt more, but i don't want to embarrass myself with my bad writing.

6.4.2000

11:55 PM  oh wow.

4:07 PM  sometimes, when nobody is looking...i drink dr. pepper...and i did so today....when nobody was looking, of course.

12:26 AM  all right. this is my second shot at this weblog business. my last one archived funkily (hey hey, new adverb!) so i'm going to see what i can do this time. i am listening to the softies' "the best days" right now. rose melberg is so awesome...she has the most mellifluous voice, and i totally wish i was as cute as her. let's see, so on this weblog, i promise to have less "pity me" episodes (or, at least, i'll keep those to myself) and more actually entertainting things to say. uh oh. i promise that my typo isn't a hint at the weblog's future depravity. really.
