Dear Daviv
I am sorry that this has happened. that the Siddur should survive so long
and in another country and another time and come to the best and so called
safest country and in an office in a bulding and there is should have its end
come by an enemy right here in the usa.
that in itself is a story tho a sad story even when lives have been lost -
that the little Siddur should end right here after going through so much.
could this be an ironic end, sometimes we hear of strange stories like this
and its haunting.
and its an unbelievable story that has made its way in Jewish history. it
is really really weird but like Twilight Zone some things just make no sense
but are true. I guess we still have to believe in something and this story
is haunting out of all the rubble that should never have happened in New
York. of all places. thank you for your story anyway. Shirley and Leo laufer
