Date: September 9th Time: Surf to the Summit TimeTrial -Makara Beach to Johnsonville - 14.2 kms
This is a new event being run by Tony Gavin. Its an open event and there will be a small entry fee to cover cost of administration and after event refreshments. Its planned to present Trophies for “Fastest Rider” and “Fastest Vet”.
Certificates for age group winners.
Those interested in assisting helping in the running of this event - and if you are interested in riding please contact:

The annual preseason training camp will be on again this year, it will be the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of September.The venue is as in previous seasons The Arahura Country Lodge which is about 5Km south of Gladstone.The location gives access to some excellent circuits on very quiet roads, and provides some good base training for the racing season.Previous camps have been very successful and its the last time that the club gets together on a social basis before the racing season starts in earnest.If you would like more information or would like to register for the camp contact Doug Barrett on ( 04 ) 9040351.
