At this sight,just south of the Pentagon a temporary memorail board was erected and thousands of visitors came and left notes writen on small flags, dollar bills, receipts. Some wrote statements, poems, and drew pictures. Some left toys and teddies. Children came with pictures they had drawn and others left fowers. Some people wept, some prayed, and some just stood silent shaking their head in total amazement as they looked at the destruction of the Pentagon.
